Andrew B. Brown's BiographyAttorney Brown has concentrated in family law since his admission to the Bar in 1987. He has tried hundreds of cases or hearings involving child custody, divorce, child support, alimony, property distribution, protection from abuse, and all other issues touching on family law. Attorney Brown has litigated numerous appellate court cases with over a dozen published opinions. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, as well as Pennsylvania. His practice in Pennsylvania is concentrated in York County, but he also has tried cases in Adams, Dauphin, Franklin, Cumberland, and Lancaster counties. Attorney Brown recently lectured to other Pennsylvania attorneys on December 14, 2005 at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s seminar on child custody law. As a testament to his skills as an advocate, he has represented a number of other attorneys in their family law cases. He has handled complex, difficult cases from their inception through appeal and is “BV” rated (high to very high) by Martindale-Hubbell, a national service which provides objective peer ratings for lawyers. |
